OUR SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY AND PRIORITIES

- OUR SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY AND PRIORITIES
Priority Issues and Prioritization Process
The b-transformation in the context of sustainability, which has become the most important agenda item of our industry, is becoming an increasingly important global necessity. We have identified our sustainability priorities with a duty of care approach in line with the positioning of our economic, social, environmental and governance impact on all our stakeholders, taking into account the GRI 2021 Standards universal disclosure compliance and EU CSRD materiality analysis draft guidelines.
We created the sustainability elements included in our materiality analysis by identifying analytical factors in light of our corporate structure, quality assurance approach, innovative product range, sustainable product development activities in our sector, our distribution network in the global market, our regional position, national and international benchmarking studies and current reports of global sustainability networks.
Our sustainability elements;

Sustainability Balance
While determining our sustainability balance approach, which we supported with national and international benchmarking studies in accordance with the principles of stakeholder engagement and inclusiveness, we took into account the views of our strategic external stakeholders and employees and determined the analytical position of sustainability elements by classifying all expectations within the scope of sustainability according to the degree of impact-importance. In all surveys and interviews we conducted, our company’s current internal and external stakeholders were asked to rate the sustainability elements (between 1 and 5) according to the impact of our activities. The sustainability element deemed to be highly important/impactful was rated with a score of 5, while the element deemed less important/impactful was rated with a score of 1. According to stakeholder distribution and participation, weighting studies were carried out in the scoring results within the scope of the principle of first moments and statistical consistency was observed.

Our Integrated Sustainability Strategy
To remain at the forefront of competition in today’s dynamic and global markets, all stakeholders strive to integrate sustainability elements into corporate strategies and to include the vision of sustainable development as an integral and central part of corporate strategies. In order to foresee the future of our industry, we conducted visioning studies by taking into account the critical links of our value chain.
We provided a multidimensional plane to our materiality analysis study by integrating comparable balance elements and global trends relevant to our sector into our business strategies. As a result of our materiality analysis and benchmarking studies, we revealed the chain of actions and balanced sustainability dimensions required for the sustainability elements we will focus on in the 2023-2030 period.
